A regular day for work turned ugly for Taylor McCarthy, a door to door salesperson, in Palm Bay, Florida, when he came across the wrong potential customer on Tuesday (August 18).
The man had a ton of missing shingles on his roof, and McCarthy wanted to offer his roofing and solar services but the man allegedly answered unpleasantly.
McCarthy had already helped the man's neighbors, but this man was not taking any of it. McCarthy told Newsflare that the man replied: "It's a scam!"
"Sir, I'm curious why this is a scam, I was already able to help 73 of your other neighbors," McCarthy said.
The man allegedly replied: "What did you say to me, boy!"
McCarthy politely replied, "have a nice day," and decided to walk away.
That's when the man began to chase after him yelling at him to leave.
"Get the f*** off my yard!" the man yelled. "Stay the f*** away from my property! You're sitting here spreading COVID!"
McCarthy told Newflare that the man got more upset because he was parked on the road with his tire was on his grass.
