Three American B-2 stealth bombers have arrived in the Indian Ocean island of Diego Garcia on the eve of Chinese live-firing naval exercises north of Taiwan. It is the first time the nuclear-capable strategic bombers have been sent to the remote island since 2016, in an indication of the growing concern about China’s intentions towards Taiwan.

चीन की विस्तारवादी नीति से दुनियाभर के देश परेशान है। भारत के साथ तो चीन का सीमा पर काफी समय से तनाव चल रहा है। भारत में चीन को युद्ध भड़काने से रोकने के लिए अमेरिका ने अपने जंगी जहाज युद्धपोत और परमाणु बमवर्षक लड़ाकू विमान को तैनात कर दिया है। अमेरिका ने दक्षिण चीन सागर में युद्धपोत और हिंद महासागर के डिएगो गार्सिया द्वीप में परमाणु हथियार ले जाने में सक्षम तीन बी-2 स्टील्थ बमवर्षक तैनात किया है। अमेरिका का ये कदम लद्दाख से लेकर ताइवान तक चीन को रोकने के लिए एक स्पष्ट संदेश के तौर पर देखा जा रहा है।
