PIERS MORGAN issued a warning to Dan Walker ahead of his interview with the Secretary of State for Education Gavin Williamson, as the presenter branded the MP "cowardly" for not appearing on Good Morning Britain.
Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan, 55, warned BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker, 43, to not let Education Secretary Gavin Williamson, 44, “off the hook” while interviewing the MP on the programme this morning. Piers gave the BBC star some words of advice after he announced the MP would be appearing on the show today in view of his 668,000 followers.
Dan wrote: “We will have the education secretary @GavinWilliamson with us live at 730 on #BBCBreakfast.”
In response, Piers, who is set to return to GMB next week, branded the politician “cowardly” for not appearing on the ITV show and asked Dan to quiz him on why he hasn’t “resigned” following backlash over the government’s decisions over exam results.
The outspoken journalist wrote in view of his 7.6 million Twitter followers: “Given he's still too cowardly to come on @GMB, ask him why he hasn't resigned.
“Not 'have you considered it'?, but 'why haven't you??' Repeatedly.
