BCCI President Sourav Ganguly on Monday said he expects the T20 extravaganza to shatter viewership records this year. The IPL begins on September 19 and will be played across three cities in the UAE -- Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah -- after being forced out of India due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tournament's build-up hit a rough patch when 13 members of the Chennai Super Kings contingent, including two players, tested positive for the dreaded virus last week.

बीसीसीआई अध्यक्ष सौरव गांगुली ने बड़ा बयान दिया है. सौरव गांगुली ने कहा है कि इस बार आईपीएल हिट नहीं बल्कि सुपर डुपर हिट होने वाला है. सारे रिकॉर्ड इस बार टूटने वाला है. कोरोना काल में शुरू हो रहे दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी टी20 क्रिकेट लीग को लेकर क्रिकेट फैंस काफी उत्साहित है. इस बार अलग थलग आईपीएल भी दिखने वाला है. चूँकि, पहली बार इस बड़ी लीग में कोई दर्शक स्टेडियम में नजर नहीं आएगा. सभी अपने घरों में बैठकर आईपीएल का आनंद उठाने वाले हैं. वहीँ, खिलाड़ियों को भी पहली बार ऐसा माहौल मिलेगा, जहाँ छक्के और चौकों पर कोई सीटियाँ नहीं बजेंगी. और गेंद भी बाउंड्री के बाहर खुद से ही लाना होगा.
