A dog that fell down a 60-foot-deep well in Tamil Nadu, southern India, was rescued after a three-hour-long operation.

Nearby villagers in Madurai alerted a rescue team after hearing the dog barking loudly.

The rescue team used a ladder to climb down and tied rope around the dog before lifting it out of the pit.
