As part of efforts to prepare for the upcoming flu season during the COVID-19 pandemic, health officials say South Korea will provide free flu vaccinations to 37 percent of the population.
That's around 19 million people.
People between the ages of 14 to 18 years of age...and 62 to 64 have been newly added to those eligible for the free shots.
Children between six months and nine years old will be vaccinated first starting today.
Shots for those over 62 years old will start in mid-October.
