Two-and-a-half months after the violent clash at Galwan Valley, India and China are facing off at a new area on the border, after Chinese troops intruded into the southern bank of Pangong Tso on Saturday night.The Indian Army issued a statement on Monday morning that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army “carried out provocative military movements to change the status quo” on the night of August 29-30.

चीनी अतिक्रमण का आक्रामक जवाब देने के लिए भारतीय सेना ने पैंगोंग झील के दक्षिणी किनारे की कई पहाड़ी चोटियों पर सामरिक हथियारों और साजो-सामान के साथ सैन्य तैनाती बढ़ी दी है। पैंगोंग झील के उत्तर में फिंगर फोर के इलाके में चीनी सेना की हरकतों को थामने के लिए अग्रिम मोर्चे पर भारतीय सैनिक मुस्तैद हैं। दो दिन पहले यानी 8 सितंबर को चीन के सैनिकों ने पैंगोंग झील के रास्ते भारत की सीमा में घुसने की कोशिश की थी.
