Most of Hong Kong’s opposition lawmakers to serve out extended term in Legislative Council

The majority of Hong Kong opposition lawmakers have decided to stay in the city’s Legislative Council for the duration of a term extended after the government postponed elections by a year in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. Nineteen out of 22 pan-democrats said they will serve out their term in Legco, which resumes on October 1, 2020.
