The Hathras victim died in Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi on Tuesday morning, after which the police forcibly cremated the victim without hearing the plea of the victim's family. The victim's body reached Hathras in the middle of the night, where the villagers protested heavily, but amid the deployment of heavy police force, the victim was cremated.
