Former vice-president Joe Biden and US President Donald Trump appeared live on television in their first pre-election presidential debate on September 29, 2020, in Cleveland, Ohio. During the debate that touched upon six topics, including Covid-19, the US economy and “the Trump and Biden records”, Biden told Trump to shut up after the US president repeatedly interrupted his remarks.
