With filing of nominations for the Bihar Assembly election beginning on Thursday, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sunil Arora said that the poll campaign will be a combination of virtual and physical campaigning and it was up to the district administration to ensure that distancing norms are followed.

बिहार विधानसभा चुनाव को लेकर निर्वाचन आयोग की टीम बिहार दौरे पर है. इसी क्रम में मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त सुनील अरोड़ा ने गुरुवार को पटना में मीडिया से बातचीत में कहा कि निर्वाचन आयोग राज्य में सुरक्षित, निष्पक्ष और शांतिपूर्ण चुनाव कराने के लिये कटिबद्ध है. उन्होंने ये भी कहा कि इस चुनाव में सिर्फ वर्चुअल चुनाव प्रचार ही नहीं, बल्कि एक्चुअल चुनावी सभाएं भी होंगी. आयोग ने जनसभा व रैलियों को लेकर सभी जिलों के जिलाधिकारी से उपलब्ध हॉल व ग्राउंड की सूची तैयार करायी है.
