Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and a group of MPs are on their way to visit the Hathras victim’s family, two days after they were stopped by UP Police and were detained. A massive police deployment is awaiting the Congress delegation at the Delhi-UP border in Noida. Gatherings have been prohibited in the Hathras village where the 19-year-old was allegedly gang-raped and left to die. Section 144 has been imposed by UP Police in the village even as politicians and media persons continue to attempt to reach out to the family.
