The Rajasthan government has announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh, a government job and assistance worth Rs 1.5 lakh to the family members of the temple priest who was burnt alive in Karauli by land grabbers. The victim family ended its strike and performed the last rites of the priest. During the debate on this issue, Dharma Guru Acharya Pramod Krishnam advised CM Gehlot on the murder of priest.
