Indian Railways is taking important steps towards helping farmers. In this series, it has now been decided to give exemption in transportation of fruits and vegetables in the farmers train. Railway Ministry said that 50 percent subsidy will be given in the transportation of fruits and vegetables in Kisan Rail. Farmers, food processors, cooperatives, retailers, state and cooperative marketing agencies can avail this subsidy till December 11.

भारतीय रेलवे किसानों की मदद करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठा रहा है. इसी कड़ी में अब किसान रेल में फल-सब्जियों की ढुलाई में छूट देने का फैसला किया गया है. रेलवे मंत्रालय ने कहा कि किसान रेल में फल-सब्जियों की ढुलाई में 50 फीसदी सब्सिडी दी जाएगी. इस सब्सिडी का लाभ किसान, खाद्य प्रोसेसर्स, सहकारी समितियां, खुदरा विक्रेता, राज्य और सहकारी विपणन एजेंसियां 11 दिसंबर तक उठा सकते हैं।
