The BJP announced the ticket for the by-election for Baroda assembly seat in Haryana late on Thursday night. The party has once again fielded wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt from the Jat-dominated seat. The Baroda Assembly comes under the Sonipat Lok Sabha seat of Haryana. Former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda is considered to be dominant in this Jat dominated area.

बीजेपी ने गुरुवार की देर रात हरियाणा की बरोदा विधानसभा सीट के उपचुनाव का टिकट घोषित कर दिया. पार्टी ने एक बार फिर पहलवान योगेश्वर दत्त को जाट बहुल इस सीट से चुनाव मैदान में उतारा है. बरोदा विधानसभा, हरियाणा की सोनीपत लोकसभा सीट के तहत आती है. पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा का इस जाट बहुल क्षेत्र में दबदबा माना जाता है.
