The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has rolled out a mega digital plan as the Bihar poll blitzkrieg intensifies. For the digital and virtual campaigns, including those on the social media, the saffron party is bringing in nearly 10,000 IT professionals. The BJP has built a strong social media infrastructure, including a larger network on WhatsApp, in the last five years. It reportedly has over one lakh WhatsApp groups in the state, having at least 200 members each.
