The holy festival of Dussehra will be celebrated on Sunday, 25 October. According to Hindu Panchang, every year this festival is celebrated on the Dashami Tithi of Ashwin Shukla Paksha. According to religious belief, on the day of Dussehra, Lord Rama killed Ravana and conquered Lanka. Along with this, Mother Durga killed Mahishasura on the day of Dussehra and freed the gods from his terror. Therefore, this festival is also known as Vijayadashami. These five measures must be done on this day.

दशहरा का पावन पर्व 25 अक्तूबर रविवार के दिन मनाया जाएगा। हिन्दू पंचांग के अनुसार, हर साल ये त्योहार आश्विन शुक्ल पक्ष की दशमी तिथि के दिन मनाया जाता है। धार्मिक मान्यता के अनुसार, दशहरा के दिन प्रभु श्रीराम ने रावण का वध कर लंका में विजय प्राप्त की थी। इसके साथ ही मां दुर्गा ने दशहरा के दिन महिषासुर का संहार करके देवताओं को उसके आतंक से मुक्त किया था। इसलिए इस त्योहार को विजयादशमी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। इस दिन ये पांच उपाय जरूर करने चाहिए।
