The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have spoken of how the nation is “indebted” to thousands of key workers and NHS frontline staff as a new national lockdown looms. 

In a video preview of the Pride of Britain Awards 2020, Kate was wearing a blue blouse covered with small rainbows, in a subtle tribute to the NHS.

Prince William and Kate made a special visit to London’s St Bartholomew’ – Britain’s oldest hospital founded almost 900 years ago – to present representatives of the whole of the NHS with a special recognition award for tonight’s Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards, in partnership with TSB, on ITV at 9pm.
