Dr Abdul Wahab Dogar works in one of the biggest unit of liver transplantation and grafting, in an underdeveloped area of interior Sindh called Gambat. This unit provides free liver transplants, in a place where people are deprived of basic necessities such as clean water. The doctor was thankful to the government of Sindh for providing funds for the hospital. Liver transplantation is an expensive procedure which costs about 30 to 40 lacs or even more. The Sindh government bears the cost of these transplantations so that poor people can benefit from it.
