Kanwal Aftab visited a slum neighborhood to find out what life is like for people living there. In our society, these people are more than often marginalized and no one cares enough about them to find out what hardships they face, living in the poorest of conditions. In this video, Kanwal Aftab shows a different side of people living in jhuggis. She spent a day with them and found out that the men in their families collect garbage and sell them. They live in extreme poverty and are deprived of basic necessities such as food, shelter, clothing, and water. Kanwal also found out that people living in jhuggis have the same ambitions as all other people; they want to receive education and live their life with freedom.
