India's first elephant memorial has been opened in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura. The memorial was opened in remembrance of elephants that lost their lives due to human brutalities. Memorial was established by a Mathura-based wildlife conservation centre. The stones in the memorial have names and information of the elephants engraved that passed away in the conservation centre.
