South Korea has confirmed its third case of highly pathogenic bird flu since it was first detected on October 25th.
The agriculture ministry and Ministry of Environment said Tuesday that they found avian influenza in samples taken from wild birds in Chungcheongnam-do Province.
To contain the spread, the government issued a travel ban within 500-meters of the location where the virus was discovered.
Restricted areas are also closed to vehicles carrying livestock within 10-kilometers of the find.
