Pink flamingos take shelter on Kazakhstan's Karakol Lake

A massive flock of pink flamingos was seen taking up temporary residence on Karakol Lake in Kazakhstan on November 17, 2020. According to local authorities, the flamingos arrived from the Kazakh Korgalzhyn State Nature Reserve, where they live on Tengiz and Korgalzhyn lakes. The birds were expected to head to the Khazar Reserve in Turkmenistan or to Iran to spend the winter. Video source: Ruptly
