Sudeep Tyagi, who played for the Indian national cricket team in four ODIs and a lone T20I as a fast bowler, announced his retirement from all forms of the game on Tuesday. The Uttar Pradesh pacer, who was also a part of Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League, thanked his skipper, MS Dhoni. The 33-year-old also thanked Suresh Raina, RP Singh, and Mohammad Kaif for guiding him. Tyagi played his last game in India’s blue jersey during the Ahmedabad ODI against South Africa in February 2010. In his five games for the national team, he picked three wickets in the 50-over format.

सुदीप त्यागी, नाम सुना होगा आपने. कभी चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स के लिए खेला करते थे. और टीम के उभरते सितारे थे. चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स के लिए शानदार गेंदबाजी करते थे. बाद में आईपीएल के सहारे ही धोनी की कप्तानी में उन्हें इंडिया भी खेलने का मौका मिला. पर जल्द ही टीम से बाहर हो गए. इसके बाद सुदीप त्यागी गुमनामी के अँधेरे में चले गए. हालांकि, कई ऐसे गेंदबाज और खिलाड़ी रहे, जिन्होंने शानदार गेंदबाजी और प्रदर्शन के जरिये टीम इंडिया में जगह बनाई और इस समय टीम का हिस्सा भी हैं. पर सुदीप त्यागी को जल्दी ही कामयाबी मिल गयी. पचा नहीं पाए और जल्द ही बाहर. अब उन्होंने संन्यास ले लिया है. 33 साल की उम्र में सुदीप त्यागी ने क्रिकेट को हमेशा के लिए अलविदा कह दिया है.
