Its strong opposition has been seen in Assam in the last two years. But Hemant Viswa Sarma does not consider it an issue in the next election.

असम में अगले साल विधानसभा के चुनाव होने हैं. इसको लेकर राज्य में सियासी हलचल बढ़ने लगी है. पूर्वोत्तर में बीजेपी के संकट मोचक हेमंत विस्व सरमा से बीजेपी को काफी उम्मीदें हैं. बीजेपी की कोशिश सत्ता में बने रहने की है. इसके लिए उसने अभी से तैयारी शुरू कर दी है. हालांकि बीजेपी की सत्ता की राह में सीएए एनआरसी बड़ा रोड़ा बन सकता है. असम में पिछले दो साल में इसका कड़ा वरोध देखा गया है. लेकिन हेमंत विस्व सरमा अगले चुनाव में इसको मुद्दा नहीं मानते हैं.
