As thousands of farmers continue their march towards Delhi after breaking barricades, braving police batons, tear gas and water cannons, the Delhi Police is gearing up to detain the protesting farmers. Meanwhile, Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray has slammed Shiv Sena's former ally Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in an interview with Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana. Responding to a question about the Opposition's claim that "he does not do anything beyond telling people to wash their hands" in his speeches, CM Thackeray said, "I am only telling people to wash hands for now.
