A picture of a jawan raising a baton as an old farmer evades him has gone viral. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted the image and said that it was a deeply saddening scene. He wrote: India believes in Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan but the Modi administration has turned jawans and kisans against eachother.
