Former Indian swashbuckling batsman Suresh Raina had made headlines before the commencement of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) by leaving Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) bio-bubble in United Arab Emirates (UAE) and returning to India. The Super Kings had received a massive blow as Raina had pulled out his name from the tournament citing personal reasons. There were many rumours regarding the reason behind Raina’s abrupt exit from the tournament. However, Raina had clarified that for him his family was important and he couldn’t cope with the mental pressure of being in the bubble after 13 members of the CSK contingent had tested positive for the coronavirus.

टीम इंडिया के पूर्व बल्लेबाज सुरेश रैना ने पुष्टि की है. रैना ने कहा है कि वो अगले आईपीएल सीजन में खेलते हुए नजर आएँगे. सुरेश रैना इसके लिए तैयारी जल्द ही शुरू करने वाले हैं. साथ ही घरेलू क्रिकेट के सारे मैच वो खेलने वाले हैं. सुरेश रैना ने इस बात की पुष्टि हाल ही में दिए गए एक इंटरव्यू के दौरान की है. दैनिक जागरण से बात करते हुए रैना ने बताया कि वह शनिवार को कानपुर पहुंचने के बाद यहां उत्‍तर प्रदेश के कैंप में हिस्‍सा लेंगे. इसके साथ ही वो 13 से 15 दिसंबर तक अभ्‍यास मैच खेलेंगे. रैना ने बताया कि वो इस साल सैयद मुश्‍ताक अली टी 20 ट्रॉफी में उत्‍तर प्रदेश टीम का प्रतिनिधित्‍व करेंगे. वो अपनी इस टीम को एक और खिताब दिलाना चाहते हैं. इसके लिए वो पूरी मेहनत करेंगे.
