In October of 2019, the Trump administration slapped tariffs on Scotch whiskey.Then the E.U. added on an estimated $4 billion in tariffs against the U.S.But the United Kingdom is set to leave the E.U. on January 1st, which will remove them from these disputes.And the British government has stated that they plan to use their freedom to dump their tariffs on many U.S. goods.In theory, axing these tariffs will reduce the price American consumers have to pay for products like Scotch.However, it's not clear how long this tariff removal will last.The U.K. reportedly plans to keep tariffs on products like American whiskey, and that could complicate matters
