Farmer leaders sit on hunger strike at Singhu border as protest enters day 19

As the farmers' protest completes nearly three weeks at the borders of Delhi against the Centre's new farm laws, the farmers are observing a daylong hunger strike today. The hunger strike from 8 am to 5 pm is part of the farmers' plan to intensify their agitation from Monday. Addressing a press conference at the Singhu border, farmer leader Gurnam Singh Chaduni said the leaders will observe the hunger strike at their respective places.
