The Trinamool Congress has suffered another major setback. Banashree Maiti, the party MLA from Uttar Kanthi seat in East Medinipur district, has resigned from the primary membership of the party. Maiti has written a letter to party president and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee informing about her decision.

तृणमूल कांग्रेस को एक और बड़ा झटका लगा है। पूर्वी मेदिनीपुर जिले की उत्तर कांठी सीट से पार्टी विधायक बनाश्री मैती ने पार्टी की प्राथमिक सदस्यता से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। मैती ने पार्टी अध्यक्ष और पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी को एक पत्र लिखकर अपने फैसले की जानकारी दे दी है।
