The Indian government has taken a big step towards Indian film institutes. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has announced that now government organizations related to films will be merged and converted into a single institution. The Union Cabinet has approved the Films Division, Directorate of Film Festivals, National Film Archives of India and Children's Film Society, India along with the National Film Development Corporation.

भारतीय फिल्म संस्थानों को लेकर भारत सरकार ने एक बड़ा कदम उठाया है. केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रकाश जावड़ेकर ने ये ऐलान किया है कि अब फिल्मों से संबंधित सरकारी संस्थाओं का विलय करके एक ही संस्था में बदला जाएगा. केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने फिल्म्स डिवीजन, फिल्म समारोह निदेशालय, भारत के राष्ट्रीय फिल्म अभिलेखागार और चिल्ड्रन्स फिल्म सोसाइटी, भारत को मिलाकर राष्ट्रीय फिल्म विकास निगम के साथ मंजूरी दे दी है.
