Eighty tourists, camping in the Kareri Lake area who had got stuck there due to heavy snowfall, were rescued by the local administration today. Kareri Lake is a popular trekking destination located 10 km uphill from Dharamsala amid Dhauladhar range at an altitude of around 3,000 metre from the sea level. The district administration had to send police personnel, home guards and locals to rescue tourists. Watch the video.
