The eighth round of meetings took place between the government and farmer organizations. But it did not happen on Friday also. In the talks, the government and the farmers were adamant on their stand. In the meeting, the government has once again made it clear that it will not withdraw the agricultural laws. At the same time, farmer leaders demand that the government withdraw all three agricultural laws. Friday's meeting lasted for about 3 hours. Now after January 15, the next meeting can be held.

सरकार और किसान संगठनों के बीच आंठवें दौर की बैठक हुई. लेकिन बात शुक्रवार को भी नहीं बनी. वार्ता में सरकार और किसान अपने-अपने रुख पर अड़े रहे. बैठक में सरकार ने एक बार फिर साफ किया है कि वो कृषि कानूनों को वापस नहीं लेगी. वहीं, किसान नेताओं की मांग है कि सरकार तीनों कृषि कानूनों को वापस ले. शुक्रवार की बैठक करीब 3 घंटे चली. अब 15 जनवरी के बाद अगली बैठक हो सकती है.
