India were dismissed for 244 in the first innings of the India vs Australia 3rd Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The visitors started Day 3 with an overnight score of 96/2 with seasoned campaigners Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara at the crease. The Indian duo started playing meticulously and chose to just knock the ball around without taking any risks. Just when it looked like that the two batters had got their eye in, Rahane's stumps were rattled by Pat Cummins for 22.

स्टीव स्मिथ को पहली पारी में जब रविन्द्र जडेजा ने रन आउट किया था. तो लगा कि भारत की फील्डिंग इस मैच में भी आगे जबरदस्त रहेगी. पर अगली ही इनिंग्स में जब भारतीय टीम बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी. तो कंगारुओं ने बदला ले लिया. भारत की पारी में कुल तीन बल्लेबाज रन आउट हुए. रन आउट होने वाले बल्लेबाज हैं हनुमा विहारी. सबसे पहले हनुमा विहारी ही रन आउट हुए. 4 रन बनाकर वो पवेलियन लौटे. और उन्हें जोश हेजलवुड ने डायरेक्ट थ्रो मारकर रन आउट किया. इसके बाद आर अश्विन 10 रन के निजी स्कोर पर आउट हुए. जबकि जसप्रीत बुमराह तीसरे रन आउट होने वाले बल्लेबाज बने. दो रन आउट में रविन्द्र जडेजा शामिल थे. यानी कि ऑस्ट्रेलियाई फील्डरों ने स्टीव स्मिथ का बदला खूब लिया. वैसे एक बार भारत अपने चार विकेट रन आउट से गंवा चुका है.
