Fighters from the Giants Brigade, known as Al-Amaliqa in Arabic, backed by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, clash with the Iran-backed Huthi rebels in Ad Durayhimi, south of the strategic port city of Hodeida. The latest clashes in the Red Sea port city of Hodeida are the most violent since the UN-brokered truce in the area in 2018, with some 150 Yemeni pro-government soldiers and Huthi rebels killed in a week of fighting, according to military sources.
