मध्य प्रदेश के श्योपुर जिले में पांच गांव ऐसे हैं, जहां पैदा होते ही बच्चों की शादियां तय कर दी जाती है. जैसे ही बच्चे बालिग होते है तो उनका विवाह करवा दिया जाता है. लेकिन अगर बचपन में तय की गयी शादी बालिग होने पर टूट जाती है तो फिर शादी तोड़ने वाले परिवार को जुर्माना भरना पड़ता है.
