16 Farmers Associations (FAs) in Villaba, Leyte band together to form the first agricultural cooperative under the Leyte EconoMICs Program. These FAs which were organized from 2015 to 2020 are already generating income from their More Income in the Countryside (MIC) projects namely: compact farming for high-value crops, hog fattening, hog breeding, egg-laying, and other ventures.
