The remains of veteran comedian Datuk Jamali Shadat was laid to rest at the Kampung Sungai Pinang Muslim cemetery in Pulau Indah, Selangor on Wednesday afternoon.

Jamali, who became famous with his portrayal of a small boy named Atan in the eighties, passed away at 8.15am. He was 79.
