The destruction of the glacier in Chamoli Garhwal district of Uttarakhand has created havoc. The water level of the rivers has increased. The water is moving fast. There is a possibility of water spillage in the surrounding areas, so the surrounding areas are being evacuated. Relief work is being taken forward rapidly.

उत्तराखंड के चमोली गढ़वाल जिले में ग्लेशियर टूटने से तबाही मच गई है. नदियों का जलस्तर बढ़ गया है. पानी तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है. आसपास के इलाकों में पानी फैलने की आशंका है, लिहाजा आसपास के इलाकों को खाली कराया जा रहा है. राहत कार्य को तेजी से आगे बढ़ाया जा रहा है.
