Myanmar is in a chaos as protests are raging since 1st Feb when In a shocking turn of events, the Myanmar military Monday seized power in a coup and declared a state of emergency in the country for a year just before the new session of the Parliament was to open. Civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi was detained along with other members of her National League for Democracy (NLD) party, as the military declared void their landslide victory at the polls. The armed forces had backed the opposition, who were demanding a rerun of the vote, claiming widespread fraud. The election commission said there was no evidence to support these claims.
