Very few people know that there are not two but four Navratri in a year. Magh, Chaitra, in the year Navaratri falls during the month of Ashadh and Ashwin. Of these, the Navratras of Chaitra and Ashwin month are for the common man. So there comes Gupta Navaratri in the month of Magh and Ashadh. बहुत कम ही लोगों को इसका ज्ञान है कि साल में दो नहीं बल्कि चार नवरात्रि आती हैं। साल में माघ, चैत्र, आषाढ़ और अश्विन माह के दौरान नवरात्रि पड़ती हैं। इनमें से चैत्र और अश्विन माह के नवरात्र साधारण जन के लिए होते हैं। तो वहीं माघ और आषाढ़ माह में गुप्त नवरात्रि आती हैं। आपको बता दें कि नवरात्रि में जहां मां दुर्गा के 9 स्वरूपों की पूजा की जाती है तो वहीं गुप्त नवरात्रि में मां आदिशक्ति जगदंबा भवानी की दस महाविद्याओं की साधना की जाती है।अगर आप पूरे विधि-विधान से दस महाविद्याओं की पूजा नहीं कर सकते हैं तो आप बहुत ही सरल तरीके से इन्हें खुश कर सकते हैं। ज्योतिष शास्त्र के अनुसार इनकी पूजा के साथ-साथ इन्हें अलग-अलग भोग भी लगाए जाते हैं।
