माघ मास की शुक्ल पक्ष की सप्तमी तिथि को अचला सप्तमी मनाई जाती है. हिंदू धर्म में अचला सप्तमी का खास महत्व माना गया है. अचला सप्तमी को रथ ,अरोग्य सप्तमी के नाम से भी जाना जाता है. इस साल अचला सप्तमी 19 फरवरी को 2021 को मनाई जाएगी. इसे सूर्य जयंती के नाम से भी जानते हैं. माना जाता है कि इस दिन इस दिन सात जन्म के पाप को दूर करने के लिए रथारूढ़ सूर्यनारायण की पूजा की जाती है. इस दिन पूजा और उपवास से आरोग्य तथा संतान की प्राप्ति होती है इसलिए इसको आरोग्य सप्तमी और पुत्र सप्तमी भी कहा जाता है.


Achala Saptami is celebrated on the seventh day of the bright fortnight of Magh month. Achala Saptami is considered to be of special importance in Hinduism. Achala Saptami is also known as Rath, Arogya Saptami. This year Achala Saptami will be celebrated on 19 February 2021. It is also known as Surya Jayanti. It is believed that on this day, to overcome the sins of seven births, the worship of Suryanarayana is done. On this day worship and fasting leads to the attainment of health and children, hence it is also called Arogya Saptami and Son Saptami.
