Four men, including three civil servants, have been detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) in Penang here to assist investigations into a graft case.
The four detained were a 43-year-old police assistant superintendent, a 40-year-old lance corporal, an employee of the Penang Island City Council (MBPP) and a civilian.
They have been detained on suspicion of receiving bribes to protect and leak information with regard to drug trafficking syndicates in the state over the past few years.
