The dates for the assembly elections in Assam have been announced. Before the elections in Assam, the Congress has made a big announcement about women. The Congress has said that if 'Mahajot', the Congress-led grand alliance, comes to power in Assam, 50 percent reservation for women in government jobs will be given.

असम में विधानसभा चुनाव की तारीखों का ऐलान हो गया है. असम में होने वाले चुनाव से पहले कांग्रेस ने महिलाओं के लेकर बड़ा एलान किया है. कांग्रेस ने कहा है कि अगर असम में ‘महाजोत’ यानी कांग्रेस नीत महागठबंधन सत्ता में आता है तो सरकारी नौकरियों में महिलाओं के लिए 50 फीसदी आरक्षण दिया जाएगा.
