While the worldwide COVID lockdown has led to a spike in the birth rate in several countries, the Ministry of Health today reported that this has not been the case in Trinidad and Tobago.

In fact T&T's birth rate is on the decline...and the Ministry says this has been happening for some time now.

The Ministry even warns that this trend could have serious implications for our economy moving forward. Rynessa Cutting reports.
