रांची के बिरसा एग्रीकल्चर यूनिवर्सिटी में चल रहे किसान मेले में धोनी को यह सम्मान मिला। आईपीएल के 14वें सीजन की तैयारी के लिए माही चेन्नई में हैं इसलिए उनके प्रतिनिधि कुणाल गौरव ने झारखंड विधानसभा के स्पीकर रवींद्र नाथ महतो के हाथ से यह अवॉर्ड लिया। गौरव ने यह भी बताया कि धोनी अभी 73 गायों का पालन कर रहे हैं। जब शहर में होते हैं तो दिन में एक बार इनके पास जरूर आते हैं।बता दें कि 43 एकड़ के अपने फॉर्म हाउस में माही रहने के साथ-साथ जैविक खेती भी करते हैं। उनकी उगाई सब्जियां विदेशों में बिकने को तैयार हैं। वह 10 एकड़ जमीन पर फल और सब्जियां उगा रहे हैं।
