Amid increased radicalisation and a looming ISIS threat, Uzbekistan is jointly exercising with India to enhance its counter-terrorism expertise as New Delhi seeks to establish a strong bilateral relationship with the key central Asian country where China has huge interests.

बढ़ती कट्टरता और ISIS के मंडराते ख़तरे के बीच अपनी आतंकवाद निरोधक विशेषज्ञता बढ़ाने के लिए उज़्बेकिस्तान के सैनिकों ने भारत के साथ साझा अभ्यास किया. उज़्बेक सेना उत्तराखंड के रानीखेत के पास चौबतिया के विदेशी प्रशिक्षण नोड में, भारत के साथ साझा सैन्य अभ्यास- डस्टलिक-2 में हिस्सा ले रही है. 13 कुमाऊं के कमांडिंग ऑफिसर कर्नल अमित मलिक ने मीडिया को बताया कि इस अभ्यास में यूएन आदेश के तहत आतंकवाद-निरोधक कार्रवाईयों पर फोकस किया गया.
