Dennis Schroder was interviewed postgame after the Lakers loss vs the Hawks. LeBron James went down during the game clutching his ankle. Schroder gave his reaction to James getting hurt during the game. He said that the team just has to stay together and have a "next man up mentality." The team is already without star Anthony Davis for over a month now. Shams Charania of the Athletic reported after the game that James has a high right ankle sprain and will be out indefinitely. Schroder said that it was a reckless play from Solomon Hill made an unnecessary play when he dove into James' leg. The Lakers will now be without both James and Davis for an extended period of time.
