After playing a blitzkrieg knock of 99 off 52, England all-rounder Ben Stokes on Friday said that he decided to take charge on the spinners while letting Jonny Bairstow keep doing his thing in the second ODI against India in Pune at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium. The all-rounder smashed 10 sixes and four fours in his blistering innings. Apart from Stokes, it was opener Jonny Bairstow's 124 runs that saw England register a six-wicket win. Chasing a mammoth target of 337, the visitors cruised home with 39 balls to spare as they levelled the three-match series 1-1.

बेन स्टोक्स ने तीसरे वनडे मैच से पहले बड़ा बयान दिया है. बेन स्टोक्स ने कहा है कि वो बड़े लक्ष्य से नहीं डरते हैं और न ही उनकी टीम. जीत का माद्दा रखते हैं. और तीसरे वनडे मैच में इंग्लैंड की टीम जीत के इरादे से मैदान में उतरने वाली है. दरअसल, पिछले वनडे मैच यानी कि दूसरे वनडे में बेन स्टोक्स ने 99 रनों की पारी खेली. इस दौरान उन्होंने दस छक्के लगाए थे. 190 के स्ट्राइक रेट से बल्लेबाजी और भारतीय गेंदबाजों को खूब कूटा. इस मैच में पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए भारत ने 336 रन बनाए थे. जवाब में इंग्लैंड ने छह विकेटों से मुकाबला अपने नाम कर लिया. लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए स्टोक्स ने जॉनी बेयरस्टो के साथ दूसरे विकेट के लिए 175 रनों की बड़ी पार्टनरशिप की और टीम इंडिया के गेंदबाजों की जमकर धुनाई की थी.
